The anticipated consolidation of Mexico’s multiple health care systems is underway. Effective Jan 1 the Seguro Popular has ended by being integrated into a new agency INSABI, the Institue for Health and Well-being. The article below offers that no differences in either care or qualification has resulted and that current SP members will continue to use their existing membership credentials at the regular hospitals and clinics.
