Apple Pay - svskyus - 10-22-2018
Is it possible to use Apple Pay in GTO or Mexico? Seems like it would be safer than using credit or debit card....
Couldn't find it mentioned using search.

Haven't seen it. In fact hoping hard for less and less US style modern "conveniences" here. More fun to do it the "old way". Recommend having a "multi-sectional" bank account, perhaps Schwab where you can keep most of your money in another account and little in checking, and since will not have ATM fees just take cash out when you need it. (Speaking of doing things the "old way" - double or make that tripple LOL) Don't walk around like a Gringo or loaded down with jewelry or open a wallet bulging and maybe you will be OK. Also don't look lost or always respond to bums approaching on the street, don't stay out late or in bars of ill repute, and be happy. If you get lost late at night, duck in a business and resolve your direction; don't stand in the street and look in a circle at tops of buildings.
