Seeking short-term homestay & Spanish Immersion in January 2018! - neenbean - 11-13-2017
Hola!
I am a student at a University in Washington, DC, and I have 1.5 - 2 weeks off this January. I am hoping to stay in a homestay with a Mexican family, where I can be a part of the family temporarily and practice my Spanish through Immersion!
I am also seeking any volunteer opportunities or recommendations for a project so that I can meet people and be immersed during my time there.
I lived in Valparaíso, Chile for 5 months where I learned to speak Spanish by living with a host family there and taking classes, I am hoping to experience something like this but in the beautiful city of Guanajuato!
I have a lot of experience working with children of all ages, I love pets, hiking, biking, and all things exploration/adventuring! I have experience coordinating projects and working with a lot of non-profit organizations, and am happy to volunteer my time while I am in Guanajuato.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions or families you know who have a room available for a homestayer in January. I am hoping to book my flights soon so please don't hesitate to reach out.
