We will be in GTO for the month of January and would like to know if there is a site or link we can go to for any upcoming performances and tickets in January. Thanks much!

Unfortunately January is possibly the slowest month of the year with little if anything at the Juarez Theater, The Civic one had some concerts last season in Jan/Feb

OSUG is part of the university. When UGTO is on vacation OSUG is as well. The Primera Temporada of 2017 began with its first program on 20 January. so you might be in luck for one, maybe two concerts of the 2018 season..

I'm not sure when the OSUG will return from vacation in January, but there are numerous groups of chamber music, soloists, and Mexican music which play in Casa Cuatro, Foro Cultural 81, Foro Inundacion, the Primer Deposito, and the Hotel Villa Maria Cristina. I recently opened a facebook group to list these and other events; feel free to join. It's called Guana What (no ? after the word What).

Muchas gracias, everyone! These are fantastic suggestions and we will definitely be exploring all these venues. When we were in GTO in August we did see a chamber concert at Casa Cuatro.
