Notario Recommendations - wwintermute - 02-11-2017
Well, after renting a few years, we've found a house we'd like to buy. Any recommendations on a good notario to use? Also, any additional words of advice from folks that have gone through the process of buying a house in Guanajuato?

We used Carmen Nieto Vega Notario #19 and were very pleased. We had an challenging transaction: Two separate, but adjoining parcels being sold together, so joining lots. We paid in partial cash and balance in wire transfer which was not something the seller was comfortable with and Sra. Carmen made it all work. She was very helpful and kept us posted on all the steps in the process of joining the lots.
