Anyone know a good place to get a photo taken and printed for a US passport?

I recently had passport pix taken at Macro Foto on Alonso, just up the street from ex-Casa Kloster. Quick service while you wait, good price, no complaints. I advise first checking the State Department website for the photo requirements. The size is different from that of Mexican passport photos, and there are also regulations as to head length and so on.

There's a photo place near the San Miguel consular agency as well, but I find the service at Macro Foto better and friendlier. Our consular agent visited the other day, and he also suggested we might be better off getting our photos locally.

We've used the photographer in Plaza de Los Angeles for both passports and Mexican visas. While photos will not be ready to pick-up the same day, they are inexpensive, and the family is reliable. Photos will be ready when promised.
