Help needed to save Embadoras trees - Sandra Ward - 03-15-2016
The problem of the overgrown ficus trees in Embajadoras Park is that the city does not have the resources to hire qualified personnel to properly prune the trees in order to save them, and is working with only a couple of tree cutters who were authorized to do the work last year. Yesterday the two of them worked from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Given this critical situation, a group of citizens has offered to hire a tree specialist to supervise the workers and augment the crew with three tree trimmers qualified to help the city´s workers from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Support for this work is urgently requested in the form of money, food, and beverages for the team of workers doing the pruning.
