Visiting first of October and was wondering if the funicular has been repaired and is operational again.

From what I see it is not repaired. I may be wrong but i was told it was owned by a private company and they were aware based on inspections that it needed maintenance before the accident occurred. One would hope it gets fixed but before Cervantino but I have my doubts
