Jes That's great news and shipping seems reasonable on a test order I tried but the big unanswered question is Aduana - there is a lot of boiler plate here Tarifas de Importación y Depósito but no numbers. It would be nice if their site could give an estimate in advance. Another thing that I noticed - it is hard to back-up as you begin the purchase process - there is no Bail Out button that I could see or a way to go back and "Continue Shopping".
Site did take my US username and pwrd but did not bring up my current carrito.

The kindle white (didn't check anything else) costs a bit more on the amazon site but if you don't have to pay the 20-30% import tax then it might end up actually being cheaper. As long as you got a fedex/dsl delivery it could be awesome as they hopefully get more products....

Well not proud but I chew nicotine gum as opposed to smoking cigarettes last year nicotine gum disappeared in all of Mexico. I put an order in through Amazon Mx. I will be pleasantly surprised if it shows up. They say they ship here so we shall see.

I was just comparing prices to see whether the mexican site might be good value. With the kindle australia site they just charge more for everything because they can.

I ordered books from Amazon MX. They canceled my order and said the address was "incomplete", which was not true. DHL has delivered to this address many times, but the driver that day was lazy to look for the house and just canceled the whole order. Amazon asked me to order it all again. Crazy.
