Superbowl - Celine - 01-27-2015 Hello everyone. Last year I went to the Bar Luna to watch the Superbowl. (I don't have a TV, plus, I wanted to watch with other people.) My Seattle friend and I want to watch the game this year, too. Is that the best local place to watch the game? RE: Superbowl - Arthaey - 01-27-2015 I'm relatively new in town, so I don't know about the BEST place to watch, but I watched the playoffs at 100 Montaditos in Plaza de la Paz. It's a small place, though, so if there are many of us, it won't work so well... Coincidentally, I'm also from Seattle. I hope to see you wherever we end up. :) RE: Superbowl - Celine - 01-27-2015 I'm from Bainbridge. Brought my #12 shirt to Gto. RE: Superbowl - roberb7 - 01-28-2015 While I much prefer the NCAA to the NFL, and think that the Super Bowl is 95% hype, I've still got an interest in this one. I've been to a couple of "Halcones Marinos" home games. And, Kam Chancellor and assistant coach Nick Sorensen played for my alma mater, Virginia Tech. RE: Superbowl - Celine - 01-28-2015 Then you must have enjoyed Kam's "Panther Leap" almost as much as we did! RE: Superbowl - roberb7 - 01-30-2015 I checked at Bagel Cafetin, on the Plaza de San Francisco. They have an upstairs room with a good-size TV screen, and they will have the Super Bowl on it. I don't think 100 Montaditos is a good option. They have only a few tables, and I doubt that they would appreciate having them tied up for four hours by people watching TV. RE: Superbowl - Arthaey - 01-30-2015 I'll check out this Bagel Cafetin place; it does sound like a better option than 100 Montaditos. |
