A respected currency forecasting website sees the dollar reaching 14.5 to 1 Mex peso later this fall. Stay tuned? Fed will at some point have to boost interest rate from near zero and that will attract buyers to dollar.

Good for tourists but being in the local market one can expect inflation

Yes, they're bound to rise SOMETIME. But guessing The Fed's timing and the date that interest rates will rise is a matter of clairvoyance, not just reasoning. (From someone who was married to a Fed researcher)
