Pillow/cushions custom made - sfschwartz - 10-28-2013
Hey everyone, I am trying to find someone in gto who can make some custom pillows and cushions. I will be bringing my own fabric from the US, they would need to provide filling and do all of the work. I would even be willing to go to SMA, but would prefer to stay in gto. These are cushions and pillows for outdoor use. Any help would be great! Thanks.

Please post how this turns out for you as we have an identical need. We were told to visit a tapicero shop on right side of main road, opposite Carnitas Sam, heading toward SMA just past Glorieta Santa Fe. They do seem to have a large supply of foam,visible from street. What type of fabric are you to use for exterior duty? Good luck and thanks.

Luis speaks English and will come to your place to give quotes and pick-up furniture. His prices are very reasonable - for 1600 pesos he just rebuilt [new 40# foam] and recovered with a Sheaton style fabric [included in price] our 8 dining room chairs. Turn around time was amazing: 24 hours. 5pm one day he came to the house to quote the project, disassembled the seats and by 5pm the next day he was back and installed the new cushions.
