I've been boycotting all products and goods made in China for years now because I don't like the way they treat the environment or animals, but it can be very difficult to avoid their crap. I lived with a very leaky garden hose for years because all I could find in the stores in Manzanillo were hoses made in China. I will not buy anything made in China though so I managed.
I take extra special care to avoid any food products made or grown in China or with ingredients sourced in China ever since they decided back in 2007 that putting melamine in food was a good idea. It is difficult though, to always know the source of all ingredients and the Chinese manufacturers along with any regulatory boards they might have are criminally unscrupulous. It is a real pity that imports of Chinese products are not boycotted world wide until they clean up their act.
