Chomsky may have too uniform a view of indigenous groups but think about which part of Mexican society retains sustainable skills here. Comments welcome.

My reaction: I agree entirely with what Chomsky wrote about Ecuador and other countries that are moving along the same path, although he provided little in the way of detail in this article. (If you want to fast-forward, this topic is on page 3.)
I've held the opinion for a long time that indigenous Latino cultures will do just fine after the collapse of the current industrial society, as long as they have the good sense to prevent Monsanto from destroying their food supply.
