Sale of calendars and nochebuenas on Sunday, December 16 - Sandra Ward - 12-12-2012
For those of you who have not yet bought Amigos de los Animales 2013 calendars or poinsettietas (nochebuenas), Amigos volunteers will be selling them in the parking lot of Plaza Pozuelos on Sunday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Our white tent will be near the entrance of Mega.
The wall calendars, in Spanish with the major Mexican holidays and in English with the American ones, cost 250 pesos. Each month features a beautiful colored photograph by Alejandra Garcia of a recently rescued dog in a Guanajuato setting. A brief article about them appears in the attached December Newsletter.
The large, potted nochebuenas will have foil wrapping for presentation as gifts. Their cost will be 80 pesos apiece, two for 140 pesos.
All proceeds of the sale will be used to support our sterilization, rescue, and public-education activities.
