BOGUS BILL ALERT - Doyle Phillips - 12-12-2012
About Matehuala coming from Laredo a Pemex gasolinero gave me two $200 peso bills that were fake. I suspect him because he made such a big deal out of wanting a different payment from me when he displayed a big roll of pesos and did not need my more "exact" payment.
If you have never seen one of the fakes i can show you. The most apparent difference when you compare the counterfeit to the real is that there is no watermark on the bad boy.
At the toll both where i learned the sad truth the attendant told me that they were getting several of these bills daily.

Thanks for the heads up. Where would that water mark be on the 200 peso bill? And, is that the only bill that has many more fakes circulating now?
