Are there any consignment shops or used furniture stores here in GTO or Leon, Silao, or Irapuato where I can buy used furniture to furnish a small apartment? Or, is anyone moving who would like to sell their household goods or furniture? Thanks,Gloria

Marfil - el Bazar seems to have closed. In my visits there the selection of items wasn't too exciting and the prices being asked were too high.
In Leon there are several consignment shops but you have to know your way around the city pretty well. There are 2 or 3 in a row along AV Campeche near the Parque Chapalita. Perhaps the best is Tesoros which has two locations - one in San Pedro and the original on Av Leon in Valle del Campestre. Patricia, the owner, speaks English.
