SORIANA - meroberts - 06-14-2010 According to my hairdresser, the new Soriana at Plaza San Javier, will officially open July 15. HURRAY!!! ;) Trucks are already unloading frozen and canned goods and although they try to keep everything under wraps, it has gotten out that they will open their doors with a lot of hoopla. I don?t like mobs but this time I want to (cautiously) be there. We need a bit of competition. We like their products. Some of us wish HEB would open a store here but it?s too early for that. I?ll keep you posted. Martha ;) RE: SORIANA - meroberts - 06-16-2010 I confirmed last night, the date for the "Grand Opening" of SORIANA. They will officially open Wednesday, July 8th. Apparently, I was told, they don?t have any more extentions. Of course, this is still another person?s word but this person seemed to know and she is reliable. It is a small plaza but we will start promoting it now that Soriana (a grocery store) is opening on Wednesday. RE: SORIANA - meroberts - 07-06-2010 REMINDER!!!
