GOBERNACION and INM - meroberts - 07-20-2012 You will not hear from me again - TODAY. (I promise) Attached is a list of the primary individuals who will receive an e-mail from me regarding the several issues that have not been completed, approved, nor formally implemented into a "New Reglamento" and yet, requirements are being requested already from the foreign community (at least in Le?n). This is, in my opinion an arbitrary action without thought, warning, nor regard for the hardship and additional expense that this represents to the Ex-pat Community. I hope that those who agree with the e-mail that I?ll prepare tomorrow, will have the courage to copy, paste, (modify if you wish) and forward to those same folks from your own address. I strongly believe that there is more strength in numbers. You can see the list HERE RE: GOBERNACION and INM/how the U.S banks are responding - pianoheat - 07-24-2012 My bank WellsFargo which is a major bank does not like this for several good reasons. They reject the idea of putting my entire account # on a document that contains both my USA and Mexican address They will not sign the translated version because the person signing doesn't speek Spanish. They also won't sign it because they can't verfy by their standards my Mexican address. I was lucky by going to a small branch I got someone to sign and noterize my typed letter but it totally goes against bank policy. Now how do I feel about having a translater in Mexico having my bank account # and USA address not sure I'm willing to do that. If I wasn't in theUSA at the moment I would never have gotten even the English Version. These issue need to be brought to the attention of the peoplein Imn in San Miguel |
