New to Gto - Could use some new friends! :) - emmagirl2007 - 05-09-2012
Hi folks,
I moved 6 wks. ago from Guadalajara, had been there 14 months teaching English.
I love it here and am looking for work so I can stay.
I came to Mexico in Jan. 2011.
I would really like to make some new friends as it can be very isolating and sometimes lonely. A lot of people have partners or spouses and I am single, so I don't have that built-in companion (my cat sleeps 16 hrs. a day, haha).
I love getting together for coffee at Cafe' Tal or other places, going for walks, just talking and having a bite to eat.......in short, I need some new friends!
I live in a nice room with a mom and her daughter, but the drama is getting to me and I would really like to get out and do things with some new people.
I look forward to any responses.
