Seeking literary suggestions "historic novels" - tjrosa - 05-23-2010 I have a read a few novels with some historical basis that I really enjoyed -- Rain of Gold, Daughter of Hummingbird, Headless Angel. Does anyone have any others to suggest? I am particularly interested with novels set around the time of the independence movement or the revolution or the Mexican / American war. Also any set in the US around the time of the Civil War, etc. Thanks so much.
