christmas season specials at sm?gen - sm?gen - 12-17-2011 Hello everybody! We are introducing some christmas treats into our menu at sm?gen. First out: "gl?gg" and "pepparkakor". "Gl?gg" is a christmas spirit that will keep you warm as the temperature drops. With tastes of cinnamon and cardamom amongst others, a couple of those will make you merry even though the servings are only coffee cup sized. You will know "pepparkakor" as ginger bread cookies and they apparently turn out really good with mexican spices and herbs. At sm?gen they come in orders of three. Gl?gg and pepparkakor (they combine quite awesome) is a true swedish christmas classic. Come and visit us at sm?gen and give it a try. Happy holidays! RE: christmas season specials at sm?gen - sm?gen - 12-20-2011 Hello! Make sure you stop by this friday the 23rd of December as we are having a christmas party here at sm?gen, in cooperation with our neighbour - the mezcaleria "no me olvides". You will have the opportunity to try some of their artisan mezcals and we will have a special christmas plate on the menu, containing a couple of swedish christmas classics. So, make sure you stop by. We're starting at nineish (p.m.) Best! RE: christmas season specials at sm?gen - sm?gen - 12-22-2011 Just this moment, Tano and I are finishing the christmas platter, our "Julbord" as I would call it. This is what one serving will contain: Beet Sallad Carrot and Pea Pat? Thin Bread (Tunnbr?d) Pork Steak with Thyme Meatballs Honey- and Ginger Marinated Pork Ribs And we are still serving the Gl?gg and Gingerbread Cookies, which would be an excellent way to end any "Julbord". All of these swedish classics will be on the menu for a limited time only. Oh, and as accustomed in Mexico, our Julbord will be available for pick-up if you prefer to enjoy it at home with your loved ones. Merry Christmas! |
