acapulco chairs
Anyone seen these chairs for sale in town anywhere? Also any stores here--or Leon--that sell minimalist/50s style furniture? Looking for things that take up less space than the traditional wooden type Mexican furniture....

RE: acapulco chairs
I couldn't find any in town when I looked for them last month. (Doesn't mean there isn't anyone in town selling them, but I wasn't able to find them.) I eventually asked the folks at Tercer Piso on Cantarranas where they bought theirs, and they gave me a number for Sillas Acapulco Coyotito which I have since lost. Their website is http://www.coyotito.com.mx . There are also a number of vendors on Mercado Libre selling them.

I'll be curious to hear if anyone on this forum knows of an in-town seller.

RE: acapulco chairs
A bit out of the way but they have a nice selection of those slated, conical shape chair that I call an Acapulco.
Past Marfil on Silao free road toward but before Santa Teresa, on left is shop with large display of various chair. They seem to get fully going around 11am. The Addiction no-tell motel is just beyond their store.
